My grand daughters (4&5 years old) love these books. I've now got to buy the whole set! :-)

4 out of 5 stars gingerbread Man   July 12, 2010

This book is Ok. I used it with very young children and they found it a bit wordy. Worked better with young school age children

4 out of 5 stars You can't catch me.....   April 12, 2010

A children's classic, beautifully produced, with clear text and colourful illustrations. A standard which my grandson enjoys and insists on. And then we had to eat the biscuits too!!

4 out of 5 stars Overall very good   February 11, 2010

I ordered 4 different books from this series and am pleased with them all. I read reviews on this site before I ordered them and would agree with the main themes from these. The illustrations are great. The text is rhyming - the degree to which varies with each book - but in all cases makes it fun when reading to your child. You can do great voices to go along with the books (particularly in 3 Billy Goats Gruff!). Overall I would recommend.

my 2 yr old loves the story, the repetition of the 'run run as fast as you can...' is fun for little children. highly reccommended
